What is QAO?🌐
QAO (QualiFied Autonomous Organization) is the governance token of the stability-focused DeFi ecosystem RareChain. The main goal of QAO is providing maximum profitability and a high rate of passive income rewards while keeping users of the RareChain network protected from market volatility.

How Does QAO Staking Work?🔒
QAO is a complete passive income solution with a unique approach to staking. Most DeFi applications and Proof-of-Stake blockchains allow only a singular source of staking reward. Unlike them, QAO token holders are empowered with access to multiple sources of passive income.
Essentially, QAO is able to collect rewards from three separate components of the RareChain ecosystem:
- RareChain API (Application Programming Interface) — programmable index strategy creator with features such as AI analysis of market data, custom Smart Indexes creation, supply chain data optimization and many more
- RareSwap — RareChain’s own proprietary swap solution optimised for the use of indexes created via the RareChain API
- RarePool — RareChain’s own staking pool solution optimized for automated staking
While other staking solutions restrict you to a single source of rewards, QAO grants you access to a vast and diversified suite of reward mechanisms collected from the entire RareChain ecosystem.
Incentives for Long-Term Hodlers💎🙌
Many DeFi projects are launched with the goal of pumping the token price as fast as possible. QAO is different: the focus is organic expansion, long-term growth and lasting success.
Because of that, loyal QAO supporters are rewarded for their dedication. In other words, the longer you stake, the more you will earn.
Staking rewards increase as a longer staking duration is chosen.
Staking rewards are determined by a multiplier (M) which increases depending on the duration of staking in weeks (D). In other words, staking rewards are greater when you choose to stake for a longer period of time.
For example, a user who stakes QAO for 104 weeks (2 years), will achieve a reward multiplier of 4.33. For each QAO token staked, he will get 4.33 voting/reward shares.

QAO Treasury 💰
Completely managed by community trough voting, the goal is to optimize Treasury’s yield and to grow the amount of QAO and ETH locked in Treasury’s smart contracts.
Everything such as financing terms of arbitrage markets, rewards distribution, buybacks, long-term holdings, partnerships, grants, vault strategies and all else is decided through a Qualified Autonomous Organization.
QAO Treasury tokens will remain locked on-chain to be used with lock&loan mechanism to be used as collateral against near-equal liquidity. Amount of QAO locked is meant to grow overtime as buybacks occur while the amount of ETH locked will also grow from different incentivizes.
Minted tokens on API received as rewards will also remained locked on-chain with option to deposit as collateral for lock&loan.
